LAND OF FAIR WATERS
Ancient native Americans roamed this part of Florida long before European settlers discovered it. Later, the Seminoles, as we know them, were here when those settlers arrived and Wil Harney, founder of Pine Castle, reported they called the area "OKEHITANATCHEE". Which he said means "Land of Fair Waters".
Today, the Conway Chain of Lakes are a constant reminder that we are nurtured by Mother Earth and are blessed to live here.
Please join us February 24-25, 2018 as Pine Castle Pioneer Days celebrates its 45th Anniversary in the "Land of Fair Waters."
